About Independent Psychological Services ...

IPS is a private psychological practice offering a range of psychological assessments and therapy by chartered clinical psychologists.

All clinicians are accredited and registered with the British Psychological Society and adhere strictly to this code of practice and ethics.

As Clinical Psychologists, IPS offers an eclectic model of psychological therapies including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural, Systemic & Narrative, Cognitive Analytic and Psychodynamic approaches.

We welcome referrals for emotional and behavioural difficulties including Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and a range of interpersonal problems.

We work with individuals, couples or families.

Independent Psychological Services do not accept referrals for clients with psychosis, bipolar disorder or high risk presentations.

IPS carries out specialist assessments including those for Social Services and medico-legal cases. These include child protection, parenting, personal injury and victims of crime/violence.
